My wife Joanne and I welcome you to 5J Collectibles. Although we primarily have Joe Chiodo and Wendy Fouts Broome's amazing Color Guides up for sale, we will be adding other great things that we have collected.
We both worked at Homage Studios, later known as Wildstorm Productions, for about 5 years from when they first opened.
We worked with legendary artists such as: Jim Lee, Whilce Portacio, Marc Silvestri, Jeff Scott Campbell, Travis Charest, Aaron Wiesenfeld, Nick Manabat, Brett Booth, Scott Clark, Ryan Benjamin, Matt Broome, Mark Texeira, Dale Keown, Art Adams, Brandon Petersen, Scott Williams,Trevor Scott, and other great comic book artists when the studio was first opened.
Joanne, who is Whilce Portacio's sister, was the office manager and also managed the comics express store.
My primary duties were to serve as Whilce Portacio's right hand man, coordinate comic book conventions, sell original art and to serve as a studio liaison to new artists when they were recruited to work at Homage/WildStorm. I later became an editor, a colors assistant to Joe Chiodo, did some ink assists, and I also assisted with the computer production.
